WRHQ (Quality Rock Q105.3) is a gold-based Rock Adult Contemporary radio station based in Savannah, Georgia. It remains a popular station despite competition from similar stations such as WIXV-FM and WGZO-FM. The station has a fairly broad playlist, leaning heavily on such musicians as James Taylor, R.E.M., and Billy Joel.

WRHQ is the only radio station in Savannah that is locally owned and operated. WRHQ program director Jerry Rogers, a Savannah radio veteran for more than 30 years, also owns the station.

History

After WLOW-FM moved to 107.9 from 105.5, a vacant allotment to Richmond Hill could be moved closer to Savannah with greater power, compared to the 3kW signal based in Bryan County the station was proposed to have. In 1991, the station signed on the air and has remained an Adult album alternative/Rock AC hybrid since.
