Zebedee (zibhdi, "the gift of God"; Zebedaios) is a name used in several contexts:
*In the Bible, Zebedee was a Hebrew fisherman, the husband of Salome, and the father of James and John, two of the Apostles of Jesus
*Zebedee is a character in the BBC children's programme "The Magic Roundabout".
*Zebedee is also villanous Z-stack character in the 1989 children's programme "TUGS"
*Zebedee is also the name of a Multi-User Dungeon game
*Zebedee is a nickname given to a 4-shot of coffee, so called for its powerfully energising effect, making one act like the character Zebedee from "The Magic Roundabout". The character has a huge spring instead of legs, and hence bounced around.
