Lili Ivanova ( _bg. Лили Иванова) (born
April 24 ,1939 ) is a popularBulgaria n singer.Lili was born in the town of Kubrat. She graduated from the
Varna Medical School for Nurses in 1959, but 2 years later started a music career following anaudition for singers in the capital of Bulgaria -Sofia . Her first big hit "Saturday Evening" (" _bg. Събота Вечер") was released in 1963. Currently, Lili Ivanova supports a foundation for orphans 'Lili Ivanova Foundation'. Some of her songs have been song by foreign singers in different languages. Especially, Uteha, her 1975 song, was sung bySezen Aksu as Yaşanmamış Yıllar ("Unlived Years" in Turkish) in 1976.Discography
So far, Lili has released 31 albums (two of them - gold (15,000+), over 500 singles and played over 10,000 live concerts.
