St Clether

St Clether is small village and civil parish on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, UK.

St Clether is small village beside the River Inney with the parish church standing some distance away. A short walk west of the church following the river stands what is considered Cornwall's best preserved and most beautifully situated holy well and associated chapel. The church and holy well are dedicated to Saint Cleder (or Clederus). He was one of the twenty-four children of Saint Brychan, a Welsh saint and King of Brycheiniog in the 5th century.
