Fatuha
Fatuha (also Fatwah) is one of the 20 blocks of Barh. It is about 25 kilometres east of Patna, lying on the banks of theGanges River and is the confluence of the Punpun river and Ganges. Its well connected by trains onHowrah -Delhi main line, falling under theDanapur East central railway division of theIndian railways .The Grand-Trunk road connects Fatuha to the rest of the Bihar. It had a scooter factory as well as a tractor factory. The sayings as per the locals goes that it was known as "PATWA" due to the large numbers of patwas or weavers living in here. The name gradually changed during the colonial rule as per their pronunciation.

In terms of mythology also it has got great importance because river Ganga flows from south to north (Utraain Ganga) : "Manoj Kumar Nirala".
Industries
Power major NTPC is establishing its supercritical technology based thermal power plant of total generation capacity of 3300 MW six km from Barh station. This project is expected to turn the fortunes of this town for ever in a big way.
