James Haven (born James Haven Voight on May 11, 1973 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor and producer.

Personal life

James Haven was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actor Jon Voight and the late actress Marcheline Bertrand. He has one sister, actress Angelina Jolie. He is the nephew of Chip Taylor. He has German ancestry.

Haven's relationship with Jolie was the subject of controversy after the 72nd Academy Awards in 2000. Jolie said in her acceptance speech that she "was so in love with [her] brother right now" and kissed him at one point during the night. This caused speculation in the media of Haven having a relationship with Jolie. James Haven and Jolie's domestic partner, Brad Pitt are reportedly close friends.

He has also appeared in the drama series "".

Haven studied filmmaking at USC School of Cinema-Television, and while there, won a George Lucas film award for directing a film which featured Jolie, one of five student films that included his more famous sister.

Haven was credited, along with Bertrand and Jolie, as an executive producer on the 2005 documentary "Trudell", which told the story of Native American poet and activist John Trudell.

Haven also appeared in a role for the movie "Stay Alive" (2006) for a short scene.
