The Anglo-Norse Society in London is a society based in England for advancing the education of the citizens of Britain and Norway about each other’s country and way of life. There is a similar society based in Norway.
The Society was founded in 1918. It is a registered charity. The membership in London is both British and Norwegian.
Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and King Harald V of Norway are joint patrons, and the Norwegian ambassador, H.E. Mr. Bjarne Lindstrøm, is the honorary president.Mr. Lindstrøm's profile can be viewed at http://www.norway.org.uk/embassy/ambassador/ambassador.htm
