Lukas Miklos

Lukas 'Laslos' Miklos, a fictional character in the Left Behind novel series, is a Greek mining magnate based near Ptolemais. His business is the mining of lignite. He is known to Ken Ritz, and the Tribulation Force (Tsion Ben-Judah, Chloe Steele Williams, Rayford Steele) make contact with him after fleeing Jerusalem where Cameron "Buck" Williams was stranded and Ritz was killed.

When Buck briefly visits Laslos on his way home to America many months later, Buck encourages Laslos to sell off the lignite business to the Global Community before it becomes impossible for Laslos to sell (by reason of refusing to take the Mark of the Beast), and move into another business to serve the International Commodity Co-operative that will sustain the believers when the mark of the beast is required.

Laslos' wife is among those captured and required to decide between taking the mark of the beast or being executed on the guillotine. She chooses the guillotine. Laslos himself is killed later by a Carpathianist double agent.
