Randolph is a town in Columbia County,
Wisconsin ,United States . The population was 699 at the 2000 census. The Village of Randolph lies to the southeast of the town and only a tiny portion of the village is within the town. The town was incorporated in 1870. The town is currently 137 years old.Geography

census GR|2 of 2000, there were 699 people, 228 households, and 194 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 19.9 people per square mile (7.7/km²). There were 240 housing units at an average density of 6.8/sq mi (2.6/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.42% White, 0.14% Black or African American, 0.29% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 2.00% from other races. 2.43% of the population wereHispanic orLatino of any race.There were 228 households out of which 41.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 78.9% were married couples living together, 3.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.5% were non-families. 11.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.07 and the average family size was 3.33.
In the town the population was spread out with 32.9% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 26.6% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 13.0% who were 65 years of age or older.
