hard rock bandGuns N' Roses . Its lyrics are about a man murdering a woman and burying her in his backyard. Axl then goes on to say that they are "happier this way."Axl said that song made fun of songs, about men who are treated badly by women.
It was also said that the song is about Axl Rose's dog who he had to put to sleep.
This song was not a hit song on the charts, but today receives substantial radio play.

Thegrunge band L7 also performed a cover slightly altering the lyrics to "Used To Love Him".
