Rhys David Weston (born 27 October 1980 in Kingston upon Thames, England) is an English-born Welsh footballer who currently plays for Walsall.

Weston, a Welsh international who has earned 7 caps for his country, formerly played for Arsenal as a youth player, and Cardiff chairman Sam Hammam signed him for £300,000 in November 2000 [ [http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/wales/1023622.stm "Weston signs for Cardiff"] BBC Sport Retrieved on 7 October, 2007] . He is considered to be a good tackler and is well known for his aerial ability.

On 31 August 2006 Viking F.K. in the Norwegian Premier League confirmed the signing of Rhys Weston and gave him a contract until the end of the season after being released by former club Cardiff City.

His first match with Viking F.K. lasted just 12 minutes, Weston dislocated his shoulder and did not play any more matches with Viking.

In January 2007, on his return from Norway, Weston was given a trial with Port Vale.
