Tod Howarth (born
September 24 ,1957 ) is an Americanrock and roll musician best known as the vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist for the short-lived band Frehley's Comet, led by former KISS guitarist, Ace Frehley.Howarth's music career began in the early 1980s with hard rockers 707. He has also performed with
Cheap Trick andTed Nugent and released four solo albums, the first in 1995. In 1987, he provided background vocals for Loudness' album, Hurricane Eyes.Tod has recently joined Cheap Trick again. At the 30th anniversary 2008
Budokan show, Tod was seen on stage playing the keyboard. Originally scheduled to participate in the 2008 Journey / Heart / Cheap Trick tour, budget restrictions caused him to be unable to participate.Currently he is recording a new solo cd with release due early 2009.
