Tom Warburton

Thomas "Tom" Warburton, also sometimes credited as Mr. Warburton (born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American animator.

Warburton was raised in the Philadelphia area. He attended Kutztown University to study graphics design before relocating to New York City after he was convinced by a friend to drop graphics design and study animation because of his love for cartoons. Warburton is the creator of two animated series for Cartoon Network: "Kenny and the Chimp" (1999) and "" (2002). Only a pilot episode was produced for "Kenny and the Chimp", but "Codename: Kids Next Door" was selected via Cartoon Network's "Big Pick Weekend" to be expanded into a full series. As of late 2005 it is in production on its sixth season at Curious Pictures in Manhattan.

Warburton has been involved with the New York animation industry for many years, and has worked for J.J. Sedelmaier and Jumbo Pictures, done character design for the Disney series "Pepper Ann" and directed several episodes of "Sheep in the Big City" before his work on "Codename: Kids Next Door". He Also Worked on "Doug".His aliases, Numbuh Eleventy Billion (a KND operative) and Nogoodnik (a villain) occasionally appears in , according to a Q&AWho|date=July 2007.

Tom is good friends with fellow animators Mo Willems and Maxwell Atoms. Mo worked as a writer during the first two seasons of KND, while Tom and Maxwell have made multiple references to each others shows and even made a tv movie The Grim Adventures of The Kids Next Door.
