Colin Davis "Colin Charles Houghton Davis (born in
Marylebone ,London ,July 29 ,1933 ) is a British former racing driver fromEngland . Son of the legendary "Bentley Boy" and Le Mans winner Sammy Davis (who later became Autocar magazine's distinguished sports editor), he was an advertising executive who raced a 500cc Formula 3 Cooper before decamping to Italy from which he conducted his own racing career. He competed in two World ChampionshipFormula One Grands Prix, finishing 11th in the1959 Italian Grand Prix in aScuderia Centro Sud Cooper-Maserati .
