Nawrocki (feminine Nawrocka) is a Polish surname which probably originated from the city of Nawra or Nawry, and comes from the verb nawracac~, nawrócic~, "to turn, revert, convert," especially referring to a change in religion or conversion; as of 1990 there were 21,798 Poles by this name, living all over Poland.[1] As of 2011, the number of Poles with this name living in Poland has gone down to 19,830.[2][3]
