Fry and the Slurm Factory

In this episode, the plot to create "New Slurm" then bring back "Classic Slurm" to make billions is a parody of The Coca-Cola Company's attempt to introduce New Coke, and the conspiracy theory that New Coke was produced solely to make the public desire Classic Coke more. There are two other, different types of Slurm discovered in this episode:

* Royal SlurmA purplish liquid which seems to be a powerful mutagen, changing anyone dipped in it into a Slurm Queen. It is not known whether this type of Slurm is drinkable or not, but it probably is not, because of its mutagenic qualities. A parody of the royal jelly that creates queen bees.

* Super SlurmA highly concentrated form of the liquid. Super Slurm is shown to be a darker green than that of regular Slurm, and though not mutagenic like Royal Slurm, it is more addictive than regular Slurm. The Slurm Queen mentions that Super Slurm is so addictive, someone who tastes it will continue to eat until they explode. Fry is nearly driven to biting his arms off just to get to the Super Slurm dumped in the sewers by Leela.
