Nini Camps

Nini Camps (born in Miami, Florida) is a Cuban-American folk rock singer-songwriter,[1][2] who performs as a soloist, with her band Lovepie, and with the Acoustic Girl Circle. She currently lives in New York City.

Biography

Camps, a new member of the Cherry Lane family, hails from Miami. Camps has toured all across the country, sharing stages with Los Lonely Boys, Ari Hest and Joan Osborne, among others. She won Billboard's Songwriter Award and was Spin's Top 5 Singer/ Songwriter for her self-released album "So Long." Her music has been heard on shows including MTV's The Real World and The WB's Felicity.

Her unreleased song, "Come Away," was featured in the Degrassi: The Next Generation episode "Lost in Love Part 2," at the end of the episode.

In August 2009, Camps joined the band Antigone Rising as the new lead singer and rhythm guitarist.
