Günter Zöller (born
May 21 1948 inChemnitz ,Saxony ,Germany ) is a German figure skater andfigure skating coach.Zöller was a child when he began figure skating. His coach was
Jutta Müller . He skated for the club SC Karl-Marx-Stadt and representedEast Germany .In 1967 he won the East German nationals over
Reinhard Mirmseker , the then-president of theDeutsche Eislauf-Union (German national figure skating organisation).In 1970 he won bronze medals at the Europeans and the Worlds. Afterwards he was injured.
In 1972 he left East Germany and moved to West Germany. There he became a successful coach in
Mannheim ,Baden-Württemberg . Among his students were the skatersClaudia Leistner andRudi Cerne .He is still a coach in
Mannheim .Results
