Angelika Buck (born
May 9 1950 inRavensburg ,West Germany ) was a German figure skater. She was a team with her brotherErich Buck . They were the first Germans capturing the title of a European champion in Ice dancing.Angelika and Erich Buck skated for the club ERV Ravensburg. Their coach was
Betty Callaway and they trained inOberstdorf . 1972 they won the Europeans in Icedancing inGöteborg upsettingLyudmila Pakhomova and Alexander Gorshkov. They also won three times the silver medal at the worlds and twice at the Europeans and won 6 times the German championships.They invented the "Ravensburger Waltz" which was first presented at the 1973 German championships. This dance is today one of the compulsory dances.
Angelika Buck studied at university in
