The International School of Monagas, which is also known as ISM is located on Maturín, the capital of Monagas State, Venezuela. It is next to the housing complex and Country club San Miguel.
Mission
ISM educates the students in grades PreK-12 of its corporate sponsors and members of the local and international communities, developing caring global citizens and leaders.
Philosophy
ISM is committed to provide a stimulating and comprehensive program based on a U.S.-style curriculum with an international perspective that prepares students for university studies and the challenges of the future.
In a safe and supportive environment, ISM educates children in Pre-school through grade 12, providing them with the skills, knowledge, and modeling of attitudes necessary to be productive, responsible life-long learners in a constantly changing, interdependent world.
ISM seeks to provide an educational program, administered and taught by qualified, professional educators, which promotes the highest standards and expectations for its students. We will strive to be a community where the skills and attitudes of global citizenship and the values of empathy, honesty, respect and responsibility are refined, promoted and practiced.
