tyle and attitude
Slant's music section originally focused very heavily on pop music but in recent years more indie-oriented music, including country, has been heavily reviewed on the site.
Both the film and music sections are very vocal about their contempt for
Hilary Duff. [ [http://www.slantmagazine.com/search/search.asp?zoom_query=hilary+duff&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 Hilary Duff in Slant Magazine] ] The site is also heavily "slanted" towards gay and feminist view points. Ed Gonzalez himself is openly gay and many of the site's regular contributors have common political interests.
Iraq Warbegan, the editorial content has gotten more political, but the focus remains on entertainment.
