Norway ’s 11th largest lake, with a surface of up to 80 km². The lake is approximately 35 km long and on average some 2 km wide. It is located inBardu municipality, and is the largest lake inTroms county. Thelake is regulated. The surface lies 489 m above sea level. It discharges into theBarduelva river, which empties intoMålselva river, which in turn empties into theMalangen fjord .References
