Jeffrey trained in acting and performance at
American Conservatory Theater ,San Francisco State University ,UCLA andSanta Monica City College . His comedic experience includes work withThe Second City Alumni, Los Angeles Theater Sports, Andy Goldberg and Bill Hudnutt Sitcom Workshops, (formerly Harvey Lembeck). He also performed at Berekely Rep. in the ”Finding the Inner Imp” with Ron Campbell, and participated in acting workshops with Peter Flood, Jackie Benton, and Magic Theater Gym. He has taught dance, movement and storytelling workshops with the Voice of Men In Motion. Jeffrey Weissman appears in hundreds of commercials, television shows, and feature films, and is probably best known for his portrayal of the role of
George McFly in the two "Back to the Future" sequels.Trained at the American Conservatory Theater, he was selected by the filmmakers of "Back to the Future" to take over the role of George in the two sequels after
Crispin Glover decided not to return to the role. Jeffrey was working atUniversal Studios Hollywood at the time performing daily asGroucho Marx ,Stan Laurel , andCharlie Chaplin . He auditioned for the role after hearing that the part was to be a stand-in double for Crispin Glover. It wasn't until he had been given the role and showed up on the set that he discovered that he would be actually taking over the part.He has co-starred in roles in feature films that have grossed over a billion USD worldwide, including "
Pale Rider " and "". He has also made guest appearances on television shows such as "Saved by the Bell ", "Dallas", "Max Headroom ", "Scarecrow and Mrs. King ", "Chip and Pepper's Cartoon Spectacular ", and "Divorce Court ".
