Lau Kong Wah

Lau Kong Wah JP (Chinese: 劉江華, born 22 June 1957 in Hong Kong with family root in Shunde, Guangdong) is a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong representing New Territories East.

Lau is a member of the pro-China Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong and founder of Civil Force. He is Chairman of the Panel on Transport in the Legislative Council.

Lau graduated University of Exeter and City Polytechnic of Hong Kong.

Lau was a member of the United Democrats of Hong Kong (later Democratic Party). Since he lost his seat of LegCo in 1991, he changed side and joined DAB in order to retain his seat.
