"Postimees" ("The Courier") is an Estonian daily newspaper. It was established in 1 January 1857 by Johann Voldemar Jannsen and became Estonia's first daily newspaper in 1891.

Postimees is Estonia's biggest daily with over 246,000 readers and a daily circulation of 65,000 to 70,000.

In 1995, Postimees launched its own website, which was then just an online outlet of its newspaper stories. In 2000, the website was facelifted and it began publishing online news on a daily basis and has since established itself as an online news portal.

92,5% of Postimees is owned by Norway's Schibsted company, one of the leading media groups in Scandinavia.
