- Little Malvern
Little Malvern is a small village south of
Malvern Wells inWorcestershire ,England . It contains a Romanesque church calledLittle Malvern Priory , because, once there was apriory attached. Next door to the church is the historic house, Little Malvern Court, home to the Berington family for over four centuries. The gardens of Little Malvern court are open, occasionally, to the public. Thecomposer Edward Elgar is buried atSt. Wulstan 's church.On Monday the 15th August 1847 a Mr Commissioner Mayne and his sons were out on a walk on search of geological items of interest.Whilst overturning stones, Mr Cox. Mayne came unexpectedly upon a considerable number of second brass Roman coins.
