Matt Wells

Matt Wells is a videographer and co-host on a TV program called "The Loop Weekend" on Canadian music television station MuchMoreMusic. He began in National Television on Much Music in 2002 based in Halifax Nova Scotia as host of the show Going Coastal.Matt grew up in Mount Pearl, a city in Newfoundland and moved to Halifax in 2000 and then to Toronto in 2007. Matt has conducted over 600 interviews including Ozzy Osbourne, Gene Simmons, Velvet Revolver, Chris Tucker, Clair Danes, Andy Samberg, Slayer, Rob Halford, Ben Harper, Tom Morello, Tori Amos, Damage Plan, NOFX, Ted Leo, Michael Franti, Michael Buble and Wilco.

Matt was also a prominent member of influential cult hardcore Newfoundland band Bucket Truck from 1996-2007 as singer and also produced and directed music videos for the band. Currently he is writing, recording and performing with hardcore band The Lost Republic and also as a solo artist.
