Kenneth ("Ken") Pereira (born
July 12 ,1973 inUnionville, Ontario ) is afield hockey midfielder fromCanada .Pereira only started playing the game at sixteen. He earned his first international cap in
1994 in a friendly match againstMexico inToronto (3-0 win). Pereira scored the now famous winning goal against Argentina in the final of the 1999 Pan American Games inWinnipeg . With the victory (1-0), Canada earned an automatic qualification for the2000 Summer Olympics inSydney .International Senior Competitions
