Red curtain

Red curtain

Red curtain is a theatricalised form of cinema typical of directors such as Baz Luhrmann. One characteristic is the alienation of the audience to a degree where they are always aware that they are watching a film. An example of this is the film "Moulin Rouge!", which was directed by Baz Luhrmann and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
