Nick Schofield (born 29 December 1980 in east London) is a British actor best known for his role as Ryan Harper on Night and Day. During 2001 he played biker boy Liam Collinson in ITV's Girls in Love. Nick stated in a 2002 interview with AXM Magazine that he would like to write a screenplay. In 2005, he quit acting to pursue a PhD and subsequent career in geology and has since held posts at both the University of Birmingham^[1] and the University of Aberdeen^[2], publishing a series of papers on magma intrusion^[3].
