# Arrondissement of Pontivy, (subprefecture: Pontivy) with 10 cantons and 78 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 115,310 in 1990, and was 114,237 in 1999, a decrease of 0.93%.
# Arrondissement of Vannes, (prefecture of the Morbihan department: Vannes) with 17 cantons and 123 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 229,226 in 1990, and was 248,015 in 1999, an increase of 8.2%.
