- Gordon Divinity School
The Gordon Divinity School was a
divinity school established in1889 . It is now known as theGordon-Conwell Theological Seminary .It was originally founded by
Adoniram Judson Gordon . Assisting him wasJames M. Gray . It was based in the basement of the Clarendon Street Church, aBaptist church inBoston, Massachusetts , and shared Gordon's concern for missions abroad and inNew England urban centers. Upon his death, the institution was given his name. The Gordon Divinity School eventually moved to Boston's North Shore community of Wenham.In
