The Education Program of the Minnesota Shubert Center began its 5th anniversary year with the 2007-08 school year. Using IP videoconferencing technologies, the Minnesota Shubert Center brings artists into classrooms throughout Minnesota, creating two-way interactive, real-time teaching environments. The other part of the program includes online "Follow the Creative Process" programs which utilize web-based technologies. The two more recent projects include Backstage Pass: The Business of a Rock Band [http://www.mnshubert.org/backstagepass] following symphonic metal bands, Epica and Visions of Atlantis on their North American Tour in September 2007 and Men in Motion: A Dance Journey [http://www.mnshubert.org/meninmotion] following the choreographic process with Sean Curran and the Zenon Dance Company.
