Programming

WXLW changed from its religious programming to ESPN Radio on July 8, 2002, shortly after WNDE switched from ESPN to Fox Sports Radio. Effective January 7, 2008, ESPN Radio dropped WXLW in favor of WFNI.

XL 950's weekday programming runs on the following schedule:

WXLW has broadcast rights to Indianapolis Indians minor-league baseball. Occasionally, games will pre-empt portions of daily programming during baseball season. WXLW also broadcasts Butler University football and Notre Dame and Marian College basketball, along with occasional NFL games from Sports USA Radio Network; the NCAA men's basketball tournament from Westwood One; and assorted Indianapolis-area high school sporting events. Sister station WFDM 95.9 FM airs Chicago Cubs baseball and IUPUI basketball, both formerly heard on WXLW.

Previous properties include Butler University men's basketball, Notre Dame football (both now on WXNT), and Indiana University football (now on WFNI).
