Sheikhul Bandi is one of the 51 Union Council (sub-divisions) of Abbottabad District in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan [ [http://www.abbottabad.sdnpk.org/adminunit.htm Administrative Units of District Abbottabad] ] . The Union council takes its name from a neighbourhood which is 3 km from the city of Abbottabad. It is in the valley toward the north-west of the Sarban Hills. The Nazim (i.e. The Administrator) of the union council is Waseem Khan while Malik Saeed is the Naib Nazim (i.e. The Deputy Administrator).

Languages

The main language is Hindko although Urdu is also spoken and understood.

The predominant ethnic group of Sheikhul Bandi are the Jadoons- a Pathan tribe.
