Crazy Ralph Films

Crazy Ralph Films is a Somerset, Pennsylvania–based independent film production company, founded in 2001 by filmmaker Tony Urban. The company is named after the character "Crazy Ralph", who warned teenagers not to visit Camp Crystal Lake in the movie "Friday the 13th".

Crazy Ralph Films has produced several horror films, including "Hunting Season", "Kottentail", "A Pound of Flesh", and "Klownz". "Kottentail", starring "Girls Next Door" star and Hugh Heffner girlfriend Bridget Marquardt, was released worldwide on October 3, 2006, by Brain Damage Films and Maxim Media Marketing. The company also handled post-production services on "Swamp Zombies", starring Jasmin St. Claire and Dan Severn.

Tony Urban has been discussed in publications such as "Fangoria", "Rue Morgue", "Creature-Corner", "Arrow in the Head", "Variety", and "Hollywood Reporter". Tony Urban

Tony Urban was born in 1977 in Somerset, Pennsylvania. At 20 years of age he co-wrote his first comedy, "Poor White Trash", which was filmed in southern Illinois and starred Sean Young, Jaime Pressly, Jason London, and William Devane. The film premiered at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, and frequently airs on HBO, Cinemax, and Comedy Central. "Reel.com" named the movie one of the top ten overlooked films of 2001.Fact|date=February 2007 In 2000 Urban made his directorial debut with the low-budget thriller "High Point". Eight months later he followed it up with the comedy "Losing Hope".

He subsequently directed several films, including "Hunting Season", "Kottentail", "Klownz", and "A Pound of Flesh". Through Crazy Ralph Films, Urban handled post-production services on the action/horror film "Swamp Zombies" which starred Jasmin St. Claire and Dan Severn. Urban frequently works as a producer and co-produced "The Shrieking", "Midnight Snack", and "A Spider Beside Her" and is business partners with Shawn Hunt, who runs Funhouse Pictures.
