Clemmensen was drafted by the Devils in the1997 NHL Entry Draft in the 8th round, 215th overall. Clemmensen has spent most of his NHL career with theAlbany River Rats of theAmerican Hockey League but has played a handful of games for the Devils, playing 2 regular season games in the2001–02 NHL season and 4 games in the2003–04 NHL season . In the2005–06 NHL season , Clemmensen played in 13 games and started 9, backing upMartin Brodeur . He played his college hockey with the Boston College Eagles from 1997–2001 and won the National Championship with them in his final year.In July 2007, Clemmensen signed a 1-year contract with the
Toronto Maple Leafs .and won his first game as a Leaf on September 22, 2007 in a pre season shootout at Boston. Clemmensen played most of the 07–08 season as the goalie for the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, theToronto Marlies .Clemmensen and the Marlies lost in the 3rd round 4–1 in the
Calder Cup Western Conference finals to theChicago Wolves .On July 10, 2008 Clemmensen returned to the New Jersey Devils signing a one year contract.External links
