This article is about a military electronic system. For other uses, see Pave (disambiguation).
The codeword PAVE is a U.S. Air Force program identifier relating to electronic systems. Use of the prefix identifier is sometimes thought to be an acronym, but the various acronyms proposed do not fit with the wide range of programs it is used to identify. The original system, used in helicopters (The PAVE Low and PAVE Hawk), stood for Precision Avionics Vectoring Equipment.[1]
