comic book illustrator. His career began in the mid-1980s, with theMarvel Comics series "Marvel Team-Up " starring Spider-Man, and then "Web of Spider-Man ". Other series work included "The Avengers" and "Power Man and Iron Fist ", after moving toDC Comics he became known for his work withKaren Berger , illustrating thePaul Levitz -penned,Baxter format issues of "Legion of Super-Heroes ". DC's experiment in quality printing formats highlighting LaRocque's action style predated the 'Image Comics' look by many years.He became prominent in the 1990s for his work on the
Mark Waid -written issues of"The Flash ". A career highlight was redesigning the Flash costume to its current incarnation. He currently writes and draws his creator-owned series for Exiled Studio's "CryBaby"LaRocque has three children, a daughter, Charisse, and two sons, Justin and Ben. He also has a wife named Rosario.
