Signature move

Signature move

A signature move is a move or ability that is almost analogous to the character that uses it. Usually this infers that the move was invented by the character, it cannot be used by any other character, or it is a staple of a character's range of abilities. The term "signature move" is typically used in reference to fighting games, although it can be applied to recurring characters in platformers or adventure games. Although some signature moves are a character's last-resort or finishing move, other characters have a weak signature move that they retain from game to game in addition to new abilities. Certain signature moves such as the "Kamehameha", and the" Getsuga Tenshōu", are quite powerful, and are one of the strongest moves. Some of the other signature moves are weak.
