Peter Dobbie is a news presenter on the BBC's 24 hour international news channel, BBC World. He can also be regularly heard fronting World Have Your Say on World Service Radio at 1800 GMT Monday-Friday; as well as World Update, a breakfast briefing programme aimed at a US audience, made by the World Service for Public Radio stations in America.

He also presented coverage of the launch of the new Airbus A380 from Toulouse in France for BBC News 24, BBC World, BBC Breakfast and BBC Three.

Dobbie has also worked in southern Iraq during the conflict there, in Basra, Safwan, the RAF base at Ali Al Salem Air Base, and in Kuwait, reporting live from these locations for BBC News Specials on BBC One, BBC News 24, BBC World, and BBC Three.
