Ingrid Moses is an
Australia n academic and university administrator. She is the current (since 2006) Chancellor of theUniversity of Canberra ,Australia .She migrated to Australia from
Germany in 1966 as wife of Dr John A Moses. She then held various part-time positions while raising her family. From 1977 to 1988 she was a Graduate Assistant, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the Tertiary Education Institute of theUniversity of Queensland . She was Founding Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching at theUniversity of Technology Sydney 1988-1993, and Professor of Higher Education from 1990. She also was Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at theUniversity of Canberra from May 1993 to June 1997. From1 July 1997 until7 January 2006 she was Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of New England in Armidale,New South Wales .Qualifications
