Saxton Freymann

Saxton Freymann is an author and painter, who was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on October 30, 1958, and grew up in White Plains, New York; London, United Kingdom; and New Canaan, Connecticut.

History

He attended Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and majored in Art and Philosophy. He worked as an artist after graduating, married Mia Galison, President of eeBoo Corp, and had three chidren. Soon after their last children were born, Saxton Freymann partnered with Joost Elffers to write "Play With Your Food", which was published by Elffers.

Work

Freymann, however, carved the celebrated fruits and vegetables into faces, and soon got an eight book deal with Scholastic Inc. His works include, "How Are You Peeling", "One Lonely Sea Horse", "Dr. Pompo's Nose", "Gus and Button", "Dog Food", "Baby Food", "Fast Food", and "Food for Thought". He currently lives in New York City with his family.
