Michael Power and Loretto sisters fromIreland . Since 1986, Loretto Abbey High School has been administered by theToronto Catholic District School Board (formerly the Metropolitan Separate School Board) [ [http://www.tcdsb.org/schools/lorettoabbey.asp Loretto Abbey School website] ] .Originally located on Duke Street, it moved to a Bathurst Street site and then to Bond Street in 1860. In 1867 the school relocated to the former home of Attorney General Robert James on Wellington Street. In 1927, the school moved to the current home in

The primary school, which was run by Loretto sisters resident in the attached
