The monthly newspaper of Day middle school, "The Daytime", has won a national competition, the
Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Crown Newspaper award (middle school division) for seven years in a row, from 2001 - 2006."The Daytime" was run by Bob "Prov" Provencher. Mr. Provencher is a "Reading Teacher" at Day Middle School. Mr. Provencher is also a Republican. Mindy Goodman, the former 6th grade French teacher and school
