Eddie Ashworth (born Edmund Ethmer Ashworth in
Inglewood, California ) is a record producer, engineer, mixer, and musician, best known for his work in thealternative rock andindie rock genres. His primary instrument is mandolin. Ashworth has also worked with artists in a wide variety of other genres including folk, hard rock, hip hop, tropicano, punk, and classic rock. His specific production/engineering credits include:*

Ashworth is currently a member of the faculty at

During the summer session of MDIA 413, a national-level group (with Ashworth as their producer) is brought into the Ohio University recording studio. Students in the course are pressed into service as engineers for the sessions, and receive engineering credit on the album in addition to course credit.
