Portland, Oregon . The original lineup consisted of Tape Head Tito - (Vocals) Marco Sharko - (Guitar) Booger Bass Dave - (Bass) and Burger King Eric on drums. They played a mix ofavantgarde ,hardcore punk ,death metal andgrindcore . For lyrics, they sang the alphabet, performed skits, or summarised TV show episodes. They had two releases, "Bedrock Blurr" and "Befo Da Awbum". The second of these albums was released on theEarache Records label with catalog number MOSH5.Two members of Spazztic Blurr were previously, or perhaps concurrently (sources differ), members of Wehrmacht.
In 2007, the Spazztic Blurr track "Mexicali" was included on the Earache 20th anniversary compilation box set "Metal: A Headbanger's Companion".
The main Spazztic Blurr album was reviewed in the influential
Thrasher (magazine) by Brian "Pushead" Schroeder (himself a member ofSeptic Death ) in 1988. He described the record as "a wacky, enjoyable platter. Sort of like the ultimate thrash party album."Discography
