Albert's Real Jamaican Foods

Albert's Real Jamaican Foods is a restaurant in Toronto, Canada founded by Albert Wiggon. The Restaurant’s title was named after an African-Canadian athlete and scholar named Harry Jerome.

Albert Wiggon

From a young age, Albert's mother taught him how to cook, which has been very beneficial for his successful Jamaican cuisine franchise. At the age of 15 he left to work odd jobs, and by the mid 1970s eventually came to Toronto to become a factory worker, by age 18 saving profit to open up his own business. His restaurant was established on St. Clair Avenue West in Toronto. Until today his foods became a major attraction for many people living within the area coming from many ethnic backgrounds. Famous people such as Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau have tried Albert's famous Caribbean dishes.
