Saint-Herblain ( _br. Sant-Ervlan) is a commune of the Loire-Atlantique "département" in the Pays de la Loire region of France and in Brittany. It is the largest suburb of the city of Nantes, and lies adjacent to its west side. In the 1999 census Saint-Herblain had a population of 43,726. The commune has a land area of 30.02 km² (11.591 sq mi).

The school network in breton Diwan has opened a college in Saint-Herblain, the first in the area.
