Denn John Middle School

Denn John Middle School is a middle school located in Kissimmee, Florida. The school is operated by the School District of Osceola County, Florida. Nate Fancher is currently the principal. Denn John Middle School opened in 1974 on the Campus of Beaumont Middle School. In January 1975, the first class moved to the newly constructed campus.

It is made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. It has multiple choices for Electives like Cooking(One Semester), Art(One Semester), Creative Writing(One Semester), Band(All Year), Avid(All Year), Chorus(All Year),STEM (Technology, One Semester), and classes you are required to take such as Gym for 1 semester and Health for one semester(in 7th grade),core classes such as Language Arts(all year),Geography(all year),Science(all year),Math(All year). In the 2010-2011, Denn John Middle School added an additional Reading class for every student. You do not have to take Gym if you are in the school's Digital Academy Program and your desire to take Band or Chorus. The school organizes students by dens. Denn John Middle School is a B school.

Denn John Middle School first participated in MPA 2011. They got an Excellent for Chorus and a Good for Band.

The School Colors: Gray and Maroon The School Mascot is the Dragon and The Motto is “Dragons breathe F.I.R.E.” F.I.R.E., which stands for Focus, Integrity, Respect, and Enthusiasm for Learning.

In Order to pass, you have to have all good grades and be passing at least One Elective,

Uniform is Required.

1) collared shirts - white, navy, maroon, grey 2) blue or khaki pants, shorts or skirts ( shorts and skirts must fall clearly below finger tips) 3) sweaters, hoodies, jackets - must be zipper or buttoned 4) Mohawks are okay, unnatural hair colors are not 5) piercings - ears and one nose piercing acceptable. No lip, eyebrow or tongue. 6) undershirts can be any color 7) long sleeve t-shirts must be worn under collared shirts 8) rubber soled athletic shoes
